| Requirements for Legalizations
1. Export/commercial documents. It is
mandatory to legalize one original set of the Commercial Invoice,
the Bill of Lading or Air Way Bill and the Certificate of
Origin (optional). The Commercial Invoice and the Certificate
of Origin must be stamped by the corresponding Chamber of
Commerce, showing the name and signature of an authorized
official. Applicants can request legalization of additional
documents, but in that case they should contact the Consulate
for instructions and fees.
2. Non commercial documents. The Consulate can
legalize documents that are duly certified with the original
signature of one of the following authorities: County Clerk
or Secretary of State.
3. Other Documents: that are signed at the Consulate
can be legalized without other formalities, the individual
must appear in person with a valid Identification document.
The documents can be sent to the Consulate by mail or courier,
please enclose a pre-paid return envelope. The fees have to
be paid in cash, Company Check, Money Order and Cashier's
Check payable to CONSULATE OF PARAGUAY. Sorry,
